Inspired by the atmospheric beaut of autumn foliage and seasonal transition, the Koyo series takes its name from the Japanese word for “red leaves. ” Each piece is covered with a contrasting glaze applied by hand with a la, forming organic patterns resembling leaves. Koyo bowls are characterized by slightly pinched edges, evoking the shape of a flower. No two pieces are alike, highlighting the artistic caractre of the material and the manufacturing process.
