In the bowl’s back story, The Hemulen has travelled to the Hattifatteners island and found, once again, astonishingly rare collectables. The illustration on the other side of the bowl features Hemulen holding a dry branch that he will use to build a bonfire to dry his dress, which got soaked in the rain. The illustrations are based on Janssons novel Finn Family Moomintroll,originally published in 1948.
